A Kiwi short film has recently achieved international success by getting into the Short Film Corner of the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.

NUMB follows 22-year-old Anna, a young woman who turns to sex and distraction in response to feelings of grief.

Writer and star, Kat Glass, left for France this week, having fundraised $5000 for the trip.

The actor spoke to Te Waha Nui’s Angela Woods about her first thoughts following NUMB’s acceptance.
